Best recommendation is to simply logout of the desktop client before you test
the Java API calls.

Subject: Multiple Login Problem Using ARS Java API calls.

**
Hi,

I've developed customized Web application on Apache-tomcat in JSP using ARS 6.x
Java API calls.

We face the problem as below:

When I try to connect through Mid-Tier (OTB application, i.e. web view of any
form) and from the same machine (using same user) through ARUSER tool, the AR
server allows us to login without showing any error.

But when I try to connect through my application (using Java API call creating
ARServerUser context and context.login()) and from same machine (using same
User) through ARUSER tool, server throws error that the "User is currently
connected from another machine".
Actually instead of taking the IP address of the machine from which I'm trying
to connect (using my application), server takes IP address of the Web server
where JSPs are executing.

Please advice, how can I pass the IP address of the machine (from which I'm
sending request to web server) to ARServer, so that it would not treat this
login and login done through the ARUSER tool different.

Environment Details:

ARS 6.3 Patch 22
Midtier Patch 22
OS Linux
Web Server : Apache - Tomcat
Database Oracle 10g.

Thanks in Advance.

Regards
Rajeev
