Somebody explain to me what is it about UK or the
recruiting process there that I don't understand. I've
lived in more than a few countries, but this must be a
special one.

Why do people advertise for UK positions on ARSLIST
and the when you inquire, you get a feeling they've
gone fishing. Forever. Never to return to this world.
You guys probably remember this famous case of the
missing recruiter from some time ago.

Some are nicer and will answer a few questions, but
then abruptly...you guessed it...they go wherever they
go. Fishing perhaps.

When fishing for international candidates to relocate
to country x, why don't they show the bait? You ask
for a rough idea about the bait and how much of my
stomatch will it fill in their country and they are
like...you bite it. Or get lost.

Ah, I get it. It must be a new English craze: pretend
fishing. Not really fishing, but just playing with the
fish.
