How are you allowing the user to open form B from the table field on form A? Do you have drill down enabled?
What I might recommend is disabling drill down and creating an Active link which fires on double click of the table row and that active link performs an open window action (dialog) to display form B. The second action in the active link would be to refresh the table field. This 2nd action won't happen until the user closes form B. A user can open a record from the table field and then update that record on form B. After they save the change, form B closes. I then want the table field on Form A to refresh to show this change. I know I could write a guide to do this but there would be a lot of different branches depending on the changes that are made. Is there a simple way to do this without a guide? Form A does not open again or gain focus. I am sure there must be a simple way but my brain is fried :) thanks Brian Sokol Manager, Desktop Services Scholastic Inc. 557 Broadway NY, NY 10012 (212) 343-6494 http://www.Scholastic.com <http://www.Scholastic.com> __20060125_______________________This posting was submitted with HTML in it___ _______________________________________________________________________________ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at www.arslist.org ARSlist:"Where the Answers Are"
