Hi! Two years ago I published a free utility to convert diary data into separate records in a form called RRR|DiaryX.
The utility can do pattern matching to extract some interesting data from your old diary. For example it can find Status-changes and Assignments and put this data into separate fields in the new form. You could use the fields StatusNew, StatusPrev, AssignedToNew and AssignedToPrev. RRR|DiaryX works against an arx-file, so all you need to do is to export your current data into an arx-file including Request-ID, your Diary-Field and any other field you would like to have in your new "diary-form". https://www.rrr.se/cgi/div/diaryx Best Regards - Misi, RRR AB, http://www.rrr. > On a related note, if you ever decide to convert your Diary fields into > individual records in a separate form (which may then be viewed in table > fields or 0-length display-only character fields), there is a free > utility that will populate your new Diary form with all the diary > entries in your ARS system. > > > > The name is ARS_CreateDiaryForm and can be downloaded from here > http://arswiki.org/projects/dotnetutil.
