I have the CMDB with nearly ~200K entries and ~200K
relations between them (CMDB 2.0.1, Asset 7.0.2,
Tivoli) has been loaded with multiple methods (manual
entry, import, etc.).
The data validation has been done by another tool thru
SQL views to check the data integrity (server doesn't
have network card attached to it, etc.) and comes up
with ~9000 or (2%) errors.
I would like to know what's the "acceptable" error
rate in the CMDB. I know it's a relative question
depending on how do you use your CMDB (2% error in 10%
the most uses data or vice versa may changes completly
the picture) but want to have somes thoughts about it.
