Regarding the templates: I have posed many questions to BMC about what can be included in a template, and to my understanding, this is one of the items that is not intended for templates.

It looks like BMC intended for this option to exist; though it also seems like it was never finished. After un-hiding the Work Info tab on the template form I noticed that the create entry directs you to the CHG:WorkLog form. However, the Active Link workflow that fires on use of a template is trying to use CFG:WorkLog. It fails because there are no entries in the CFG:WorkLog form (duh). Now, the problem is that it appears CFG:WorkLog was meant to be used for either CHG or HPD as the Work Info type drop-down has all entries for both apps. THe problem with this is that the ID's overlap so when I select "Test Plan" on the CFG:WorkLog form it turns up as "Post Implementation Testing" on the CHG:WorkLog form. So has anyone successfully configured this before and/or did BMC ever publish documentation on how to accomplish this task? I wasn't able to find anything under the relase notes or product documentation for CHG MGMT 7.x Thanks!
