Hello everyone: I know that various people out there in Remedy-land are running ITSM 7.0.2 and CMDB 2.X and I was wondering if you could pass on some database sizing stats. I need this for a current implementation of ITSM Service Desk (Incident/Problem), the CMDB, and Change Management. We need to provide our enterprise storage people with the amount of disk space that the application will utilize.
Now, I know that this will not be an exact number, but I need an estimate (and I mean estimate) of the approximate size of the database. In particular, I was wondering if you could provide with the following: Database Size: Database Product: (SQL/Server, Oracle, etc.): Number of rows in HPD:HelpDesk: Number of rows in CHG:Infrastructure Change Request: Number of rows in BMC.CORE:BMC_BaseElement or BMC.CORE:BMC_AssetBase (Depending upon CMDB Version): Amount of time you have been in production: As I mentioned earlier, while it isn't an exact science, it'll give me an approximate number.
