Has anyone ever experienced all their Mid Tier config information just disappear? We are on a Windows 2003 server, MidTier 7.0.1 Patch 005 Tomcat and our users tried to log in our Mid Tier this past weekend and received the error message "No Preference Server has been Selected" When I tried to log in to the Config page, it would not take our password. So I had to use the default password (like it was a fresh install of the Mid Tier) and change the password back to what we originally set it to. I also had to reset the preference server, etc...
The only thing that happened was some MS Patches were installed, but the exact same patches were installed on our other MidTier servers without any problems at all. Any ideas? I checked the armidtier logs, no help. I checked all the server and application events, nothing weird there either. Also, where is the config info stored anyway? Is it in a file on the mid tier server?
