This is usually an error with the web service admin account in the mid-tier configuration. I've had to go into that page and type it in again because the install didn't do it correctly.

I've got a brand new out of the box installation of 7.1 running and am trying to log in to it via the mid tier, but every user, including Demo, is getting the ARERR [623] Authentication failed error, which makes me think for some reason the Mid-Tier is not pointing at the right server. Logging into the configuration screen though everything looks ok. Anyone have any ideas for what I could be missing?
