Amanda, Again.. this sounds like an unsupported approach (shared hardware for a "ARS application server cluster")... but....MAYBE this will help...
Find the line in the armonitor.conf. There is a command line flag for arserverd that is "-l" (that is lowercase L ) that "Specifies the directory where the arsystem.lic license file is stored." ( The v7.0 docs still have a reference to this information, but it could be a doc bug too. Like they should have removed it but it is still there... :) ) I know that somewhere in the v7.x code line this location became "depreciated" and it might be in 7.0 or 7.1 ( I am not sure which). So this setting may or may not help you. But again... unsupported likely means "will not work". Especially where it comes down to licensing.
