[Warning - advert - sort of -- but really telling the Kinetic philosophy]

Wow - great question.
What I find interesting is -- everybody wants ITIL/ITSM 7 -- out of the box.

If you want out of the box -- why would you not consider service-now --
etc...

I think Remedy/BMC is in an interesting position relative to ITIL and the
commoditization from standardization.


Now - if BMC would just push Remedy out of IT - and into the service
functions of the rest of a company (which Kinetic Request allows you to do)
-- it somewhat becomes irrelevant whether or not Service-Now is good - or
blows chunks :) -- cause one thing for sure -- it may be ITIL but it isn't
going to be able to replace the 300+ service items and delivery you have
built out for your non-IT business functions.
