Last I had heard, the Crystal XI report server needs to be installed
on a Windows Server box for crystal reports to be made available over
the web.

You would also need a Mid-tier installed on the windows Server box.

The mid-tier config guide has section dedicated to get Crystal XI /
BOXI working with Mid-tier.

The data communication flows like this

[Unix box] <-> [Windows box]
[Websphere Miditer] <-> [Windows Midtier <-> Crystalwebserver <->
Crystal report server]

I would be glad to help if you need more details.

Sumeet Das
