The only approach I have ever used is to either , put the fields in
the same locations (the default behavior of ARS), or make a set of
display only fields that are shown no the 2nd through N'th tabs and
then copy values between the fields on gain focus to the tabs or to
the fields themselves. Keep in mind you may also have to keep track of
what tab you were last on so that you know where the "most current"
value is before a Save operation too.
