Be aware that SQL Express has a 4GB database size limit. If you plan on
running ITSM 7 then you may have problems.

Only issue I had was with identifying the server. My install expected
\SQLEXPRESS after my laptop name which is what I used when installing
SQL.

 

It was actually easier than using full blown SQL!
