Dwayne, Do not over think this one. It should be very easy to do what you need to do.
Copy login.jsp to login_test.jsp (or any other name you prefer). Then point your browser as the other file( you likely need to be explicit instead of just the /arsys/home redirect) and you should be able to hack/slash/break/fix to your hearts content. When your happy with what you have... rename the login.jsp to some other name.
