So you get the data from the other system. Are you saving that data into a table (with your c++ code)? If so then you can do your own SQL query against the data you received. If not you could modify your c++ code to allow sending a parameter to search the results inside the c++ code. Personally I would have the c++ code save the data to a table and then run an SQL search against that data.
