As you were just told, OLE doesn't work on web browsers for security reasons, about the best thing I can think of would be to provide them a word file and offer to let them open it...either through an attachment field, or via url if you happen to have it on a web server.

I was able to create an Active Link that works in Remedy User Tool that opens an MS Excel file located in a shared directory using OLE Automation, but sadly this doesn't wotk in the web. Can anyone give me an idea on how to create this type of Active Link that will work in the web? Thanks in advance. -Ronie __Platinum Sponsor: www.rmsportal.com ARSlist: "Where the Answers Are" html___ _______________________________________________________________________________ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at www.arslist.org Platinum Sponsor: www.rmsportal.com ARSlist: "Where the Answers Are"
