Hi Anuj, Fact of the matter is, the system still has to spend a very small amount of time to check an active link or filter to see if it is enabled/disabled if there is a transaction that could trigger it.
This has an effect on development and application usage. I suggest you set up a "maintenance schedule" for yourself to go on a monthly basis and back up the disabled workflow and thereafter delete it. You would pick the filters & active links for this task based on how long ago they were last modified (I suggest that if it has been disabled for three months or more, nobody's going to need it anyway). Just remember that you need to be able to restore them at the drop of a hat, if needs be! Depending on how many disabled workflow objects you have and on the specific configuration of your hardware, you might or might not notice the difference in performance. Even if you do not notice any significant performance benefit, my question is: Why should the system be spending time on stuff you don't need? Hi, Number of Active Links and Filters are "Diabled" on my system. When I take a log of certain action, then some of these Disabled Active links/Filters also appear in the log. I want to know if these disabled objects impact the perforance? If yes, then what should be the best way to deal with these object? Pls suggest.
