You may need to do some development. I would check out the how v7 does its notifications (there is whole subsystem called the notification engine) and try and fit into this.
You may need to define a notification type, and create a ...SetTag filter that pushes the info to the NTE:Sys-NT Process Control form. Other stuff may be needed such as a record in SYS:Notifications and a filter to decide the message template correctly if you have added additional fields.
