I've been implementing the Purchasing console since it was first put out in ITSM 4, and you're right - I've only seen one company even try to process its purchasing through it solely - the rest just use it as an interface to track the process of creating an asset. The nuts and bolts of the purchasing process are already handled by Lawson or SAP or a REAL accounting system, for which the Remedy apps are not designed.
