I would say go with the latest you are comfortable with....7.1 was released about 8-9 months ago...it's on Patch 3...pretty stable...I've been running it in Prod for about 4-5 months now...I wouldn't go with 7.0 simply because of the fact that when 7.5 is released 7.0 will be 'on the chopping block'....I try to stay about in the middle....on a version I can trust....but not on a bleeding edge version....I think that's where 7.1 is at the moment...
