If you are using a Date Only or Date/Time field it does not matter. The Remedy user tool will convert it to it's internal number format and make sure it is a valid date.
I can type in something like March 5, 2008 in a date field and the User tool will convert it to 3/5/2008 (since I have it set to display the "Short" format for dates). If I type in February 31, 2008 It tells me it is not a valid date. It must match to a pattern. The pattern is "dd/mm/yyyy". The main problem is how validate a manual input of user in a date field with the pattern. Thanks in advance. _______________________________________________________________________________ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at www.arslist.org Platinum Sponsor: www.rmsportal.com ARSlist: "Where the Answers Are"
