We're doing manual installs of the remedy 7.1 user/client tool on xp workstations and am seeing
a strange phenomenon - and were wondering what "triggers" it. The workstations are XP and had a 6.3 client version that we manually did an uninstall on. The "home" directory still had files in it after the uninstall. When we did a reboot and then an install of the 7.1 client some of the workstations displayed a box asking about "Crystal Reports" while others didn't. To the best of our knowledge none of the workstations had crystal reports installed on them. So, what "triggers" the install dialog asking this question? What might it be "looking at" ? Thanks.
