Hi Gidd; **Finally** got the chance to try this out today - needless to say - I am impressed as usual :)
Reason for the delay was the holidays and forcing me to take time off - but now that it is finally 'aught-nine' (yikes) figured I'd kick the tires!! Thought a fair test would be to go to my local watering hole for lunch and try it over their wireless connection (xDSL) - and the response time was completely "unexpectedly AWESOME" - I cannot get Mid-Tier to paint screens that fast even on my gig-e net at home! I'll pass this info around to my team @ Infosys for 'future reference'... >> Question << (as usual) Do you have (or can you / want me to?) put together a "Side by Side" test comparison of your 'extremeair' app versus mid-tier? This would include not only 'user response time' but other interesting statistics such as 'network usage (consumption)', 'Server [mid tier] consumption (cpu / memory)', etc (insert bla-bla-bla here) I know that I am definately interested in these sorts of statistics - and I am certain that Infosys customer base would be interested in a 'white paper' on this as well. Just thinking :) Thanks for the link(s) and the demo - as usual your products "make us think" and 'consider options' when customers ask us "how do we do xyz" so to say... Best regards & happy new year (of your political / religious preference) Robert Molenda On Mon, Dec 29, 2008 at 10:21 AM, Gidd <[email protected]> wrote: > ** Robert, > > Yes indeed ! > > I can see the new tickets streaming in as folks begin to play with this, > btw. > There is always something to hope for, Happy Holidays > > Now where is that bear we have to wrestle ??? > > > Regards...Gidd > > > > > ------------------------------ > *From:* Action Request System discussion list(ARSList) [mailto: > [email protected]] *On Behalf Of *Robert Molenda > *Sent:* Monday, December 29, 2008 10:02 AM > *To:* [email protected] > *Subject:* Re: ADV:XtremeAir (NEW INTERFACE) > > ** Late XMAS Present Gidd? > > On Mon, Dec 29, 2008 at 8:09 AM, Gidd <[email protected]> wrote: > >> ** *Advertisement*: >> >> >> Listers: >> >> Exciting News, if you ever wondered what Remedy might be like if it had a >> "truly user friendly" >> interface well take a look at our new XtremeAIR interface. >> >> For those unfamiliar with Adobe Air applications, this is a FLEX/Flash >> based environment that is >> extremely light weight, does not require a browser and will work on a >> MAC.
