You simply create the user account but leave the PW blank...set them up with the permissions you want, and then ensure your server is configured to 'cross reference blank password'

So now I can login to remedy eventhough I donot have a userid in Remedy. I want to use the LDAP only for authetication. How do I setup a user license (fixed or floating) and also which groups/roles that user will have. I can't seem to find instructions for this in the docs. -- Thank you, RaVi ____________________________________________________________________________ ___ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at www.arslist.org Platinum Sponsor: RMI Solutions ARSlist: "Where the Answers Are" _______________________________________________________________________________ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at www.arslist.org Platinum Sponsor: RMI Solutions ARSlist: "Where the Answers Are"
