The list price of many Service Support (Remedy) products was increased by 5% in 
(I believe) July 2008.  I would guess that you're seeing an effect from that 
price change since maintenance is based on list price under the older pricing 
scheme.  The new Solution Packs (a.k.a. suite pricing) have maintenance based 
on net price.

Has anyone else seen a 5% increase across the board on AR System maintenance 
costs from BMC? Our annual maintenance is up this month and the quote I got has 
a 5% increase on every single line item (server and user licenses). We were not 
notified in advance of this increase and I have e-mailed BMC about it but I 
wanted to find out what the listers out there know about it.
