There are menus selections to access the legacy CMDB and recon consoles in the ITSM 7.5 Application Administration Console so I would hope that BMC supports them!!

You just need top open the CMDB:Console form directly. According to BMC support, this is fully supported. The configuration data forms have apparently not changed in 7.5, that's why you can use the 2.1 console. The 7.5 CMDB console is essentially a new GUI (very snazzy BTW). The cmdb product manager deserves much praise for this: it's already a fair learning curve to know and use the 2.x cmdb console functions effectively, so thankfully that knowledge and know-how is not thrown away with the 7.5 cmdb manager.
