If the process starts and then dies, you probably either have a problem with your installation (the copied files) or your configuration - perhaps you have a wrong path in one of your config files. Have you checked all of the applicable logs for errors?

Windows 2003 Server for Application tier AIX with Oracle 10.2.0.3.0 as the DB Tier CMDB 2.1.0 PATCH2 I have configured 3 Ar Servers in a Server Group. PRIMARY = A, SECONDARY = B, Tricery = C Applictions are on all and all seems to be working. This was done by copyinig the Binary files from the Primary Server to the Secondary Servers as described in the Configuring and Installation Guide. CMDB files were installed usiing the CMDB patch 2 install and choosing the Share DB option However, i have updated the Server Group Operation Ranking Form for the Tricery(C) Server to Run the (Reconciliation Engine, CMDB, Administration, Businiess Services, Approval Server). I have saved this form and then restarted the services. The Reconciliation process starts on this server "arrecond.exe " but the RECON jobs will never run. If i take this server down and leave the Primary Server up (A)the recon jobs run on it! Even if i only start up the Tricery Server(A) which has the NO.1 Ranking for the Recon jobs, the process starts and then dies. I have checked all paths in the armonitor.cfg and ar.cfg files and all seems to be fine. Is my issue due to not installing CMDB on the TRICERY SERVER? What would be the complications of having CMDB installed twice? Also how would/should the failover process work? All Binaries have been copied over, to the correct directories. Any help would be great, Thanks, Dave -- View this message in context: http://n2.nabble.com/Reconciliation-and-Server-Groups%E2%80%8F-tp2480130p2480130.html Sent from the ARS (Action Request System) mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________________________________________ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at www.arslist.org Platinum Sponsor: RMI Solutions ARSlist: "Where the Answers Are" NOTICE: This email message is for the sole use of the intended recipient(s) and may contain confidential and privileged information.
