No. This does not indicate necessarily that it won't work - only that it's not
supported.

Correct.

Subject: Remedy 7.x and Windows

**
I know this was probably discussed earlier in the list, but I wanted to ask, if
anyone has installed 7.1 on a WIN 2008( 64bit ) platform? If so, any problems?
Is this rendition supported by BMC? And also, if anyone has installed 7.5 on
WIN 2008( 64bit ).

In the BMC compatibility matrix it stipulates 7.1 on Windows 2000 or 2003( 32
or 64 ), no mention of 2008. In the 7.5 matrix it says minimum 2003 ( 32 or 64
), the assumption here is that being minimum, that 2008 is a viable option.

Thanks,

Saji
