A 64-bit native Windows version of the AR System server executable is
tentatively expected for the next release of AR System. The timeframe for that
release will probably not fall within CY2009, but would be tentatively expected
to be available in early 2010..

Subject: 64-bit AR Server for Windows

**
Hi BMC Folks on the List,

Does one of you know when (or if) BMC is planning on releasing a 64-bit version
of the ARS platform for Windows? For example, is that something that we might
be able to expect later sometime this year, or perhaps not until the next major
release, etc.? We were in the process of planning a migration from Windows to
Linux to get the 64-bit processes, but just found out that it looks like RKM is
still not supported on SUSE Linux which kind of throws a wrench in our plans...

Thanks,
Lyle Taylor
