Jerry, Just an additional thought here but it's worth mentioning as a similar situation once happened to me. Our mail engine also stopped processing and I had gone through some of the same steps you have gone through as well as what Anne had mentioned. One thing I overlooked though was the sent items folder in the actual mail client. My problem was a result of someone attempting to send a 36M attachment out from within our Help Desk app which caused the mail engine to die. Once I had our exchange guys to delete the offending mail, I restarted the mail engine and things were fine again. HTH Randy Mckinnish
