Directly responsible for providing direction in the area of IT Service Management tools including driving application simplification, requirements, systems analysis design and configuration to drive operational efficiencies in IT environment. Qualified candidate MUST have hands on experience with "Service Request Management Tool" either BMC, Kinetic or Nusoft products. Must have the ability to cutomize and build messaging systems so remedy can monitor new software or hardware as it is integrated and can be fully automated. BMC Remedy monitors all the systems for this client. In addition should have Business Analyst skills in order to gather requirements and then create diagrams of how the new system is going to work. Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to the following: Assume technical leadership of ITSM tools, manage integration and interfacing with other systems, and leverage system standards to provide a stable application supporting business objectives. Demonstrate complex problem-solving skills by defining and presenting technical solutions to system issues and bugs. Maintain expert knowledge on not only in-house systems, but also vendor systems, latest technology products, performance, viability and pricing. KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE Must be familiar with Remedy 7.0 or newer. 5+ years of technical leadership experience in enterprise IT service management tools, including 3+ years of project leadership, systems design/analysis and user management. Knowledge and working experience with industry leading ITSM tools to include Service Request Mgmt Tool(BMC, HP, CA etc) preferred. Prior experience on web based programming and database technologies.
