We are on 7.0.1 and tried the same approach. We only set the server name in the 
reports form, did not need to change the IDBC driver setting on client or 
server.
It seemed to work, but the problem we hit was that since we are using ITSM 
applications, in order to run the report and get the data back from the 
reporting server, the user had to have appropriate application license assigned 
on the reporting server and the application had to be licensed there. It was 
not the case and hence no data or error was returned (cannot remember exactly).
You could try to run the reporting server as a part of server group, but then 
the query is hitting the same database, and hence kind of defeating the object 
of having a separate reporting server.
At the end, we run reports against production.

Hello,

Has anyone successfully pointed reports from the Reports Console to another 
server?
We want to route the reporting from the Reports Console on the prod DB to the 
DR box to minimize Remedy slow-downs during business hours.
I know in the Report form for each report there is a server field where you can 
specify the particular server.

When I specify the DR server in that field, and change the ODBC drivers on both 
the server and my local machine it still does not show the proper information.
Has anyone been able to do this or know where I can get information on this?
