Hi all,

Build a display only field that holds
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App
Paths\Winword.exe\path" - let name it Reg key

Build a result field - Reg value.

Use OLE:

- explore Windows Script Host Shell Object
- find function/method RegRead
- Reg value = RegRead( $Reg key$ )

Second AL:

Run if condition: 'Reg value' = $NULL$
Message: "No word installed"

Daniel

Subject: Command to check whether MS Word is installed

**
Hi guys,

Is there a keyword/command available that allows u to check whether MS Word is
installed on a clients machine?
Thought I'd ask before getting entangled in scripting...

Thanks in advance
