Yea I did that and it worked thanks. Wondering why the formatting was so
different for a character between the fat and thin clients.

I believe if you set it to a decimal field this would cut off the extra
characters.  I could be wrong...

If I use a set fields and do a column sum in the fat client the field
looks like this: 

664,772.86 

On the web it looks like this: 

664772.860000 

Anyone know why this field is formatted like this on the MidTier? Can I
force it to be formatted correctly? I am on version 7.1 for both ARS and
Mid Tier. The field displaying the value is a character field displayed
as text.
