Thanks all for the ideas. I like the bookmark system, allowing end users to bookmark their own pages and have some system defaults. I also like having the overview tables added to the home page. Links to help and training make a lot of sense as well.
I've got some ideas to go on, now time to get going with my paint brush. Thanks again.
