Serouche, By saying last updated field do you mean a field whose definition has been updated last by a developer? Or are you talking of the contents of a field in a record updated by a user? If you mean choice 2, and you have tons of fields in that form, there is practically no way of doing this without making it a very expensive operation where you store information for time for each field updated in another form via push field options after doing a transactional check on data.. It won't be the brightest of things you might attempt to do..
Another alternative is auditing each field using the OTB audit functionality - expensive process too. If its definitions you are looking for where an administrator may have made changes to the field, this can be found in the fields table in the ARSystem database.
