---------------------- Senior Remedy Architect-0900382 DIRECTV is seeking a Senior Remedy Implementation Developer to join our Los Angeles Broadcast Center in Los Angeles, CA. The candidate will work with internal teams across DIRECTV and external partners to understand application needs and develop and implement solutions using current and emerging technologies. Major job responsibilities will include: * System architecture and design. * Implementation management. * Manage an OSS system based on BMC Remedy products for incident, change, and asset management for broadcast operations. * Manage a real-time NMS system for monitoring broadcast operations. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in computer science is preferred. * 10+ years experience required. * 4+ years of people, resource and project management experience required. * Strong communication skills, written and verbal required. * Ability to effectively interface with all levels of an organization required. * 2+ years experience with Remedy products (ITSM, Atrium CMDB, Asset Management) required. * Experience customizing products using custom forms and workflow required. * Addition of custom classes for CMDB required. * Proficient with Java API required. * Familiar with AIE and CMDB reconciliation. * Computer science background desired but not required. * Position is based in Los Angeles, California. * Occasional travel is required. ---------------------- Remedy Developer-0900383 DIRECTV is seeking a Remedy Developer to join the Network Operations team at our Castle Rock Broadcast Center located in Castle Rock, Colorado. The Remedy Developer will work with internal teams across DIRECTV and external partners to understand application needs and develop and implement solutions using current and emerging technologies. The Remedy Developer will be responsible for the following: * Lead development and customization for BMC Remedy products (ITSM, Atrium CMDB, Asset Management) as they apply to broadcast operations. * Customization focused on broadcast modeling and change management rather than typical IT functions. * CMDB model includes millions of CIs and covers all aspects of the broadcast from reception to broadcast via satellite. * Model covers physical devices as well as the services that ride over the devices. * Customization include ingestion of broadcast mapping data via API and modeling of service outages.
