Thanks, Kelly,

We use a similar system. The trouble is they come in and turn on their
computer, and it takes a couple minutes for it to warm up before they can log
in. Then at the end of the day they log off, then have to shut down their
computer before they can leave, and they aren’t getting paid for the time that
their computer is starting and stopping. We have been just adding an extra
three minutes onto the time worked, but now we are interested in exploring
other possibilities.

Years ago when I was at University of Oklahoma, I created a form that stored
timestamp of login and logout. Every login created a new record, every logout
found the last record and set the exit time. I then had my student employees
login to Remedy as soon as the came on shift and log out when they went off
shift. Not fancy but it worked.

IF the people you are tracking don't do Remedy as a standard part of there day
you could do an end user form that they put in their name or employee id then
click "Clock In" or "Clock Out" and have that do the same idea. Timestamp is
your friend ;)

Dear List,

Does anybody know of a good time-card system for employees clocking in and out,
that integrates into Remedy?
