ARS 7.1, ITSM 7.0.3 I've integrated TMS with Incident (so that an incident auto-generates tasks based on templates) and everything is working swimmingly. What I would like to do now, is build a generic task template for software deployment, and have the resulting task gets its product categorization from the Incident.
The easy way to do this is to build a filter on TMS:Task and just pull in what I need when I need it. The downside being that my Operational Categorization is hard-coded. It seems like the design of ITSM would have me use either the CAI, or Task variables to do this. Does anyone have any pointers on how to do either of those things and if one is better than the other?
