The SLM configuration has tools provided to build the Help Desk_SLM view and you should not need to do it manually. I would investigate that in the SLM documentation.
Also some additional indexes never goes astray on the SLM:Measurement form-get a DBA to provide some information that allows you to find long running queries and then apply new indexes to address. regards Stuart Schon From: Action Request System discussion list(ARSList) [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Shafqat Ayaz Sent: Tuesday, 15 September 2009 05:05 To: [email protected] Subject: Re: SLM Measurement Reports ** Tim I did exactly the same as you, created a join between HPD:HelpDesk and SLM:Measurement, but did not index any fields, apart from the ones that are indexed out of the box on HPD. Have had no problems what so ever. What is happening to your database? can you indicate the exact problem? thanks shafqat ayaz --- On Sun, 9/13/09, Tim Rondeau <[email protected]> wrote: From: Tim Rondeau <[email protected]> Subject: SLM Measurement Reports To: [email protected] Date: Sunday, September 13, 2009, 4:00 PM Hi All, Arsystem 7.0.1 patch 2 SLM 7..0.02 Looking to run some SLM Measurement reports. We made sure fields that need to be indexed have been, this basically brings our Database to a halt. Wondering if anyone has run into similar issues and how they have dealt with getting the data.
