Hmmm....gonna need a bit more information I guess.

What version/patch is your Mid-Tier
In the case of 5AM vs 6AM, what do you consider to be the 'correct' time,
and what leads you to believe that?....what's the DB value for that field?

In the case of the 'same' value....never experienced that, but lets see if
we can work through it. What are the two fields respective db values?

And you say the tz you are using is +1, are you currently in or out of DST?

we're using the User Tool 6.3 Patch 20, so you explanation would fit here,
BUT why do we experience the same problem using User Tool 7.1 or the
mid-tier?

Also, we've got another strange issue today. One user has reported a
problem, that in two Date and Time fields, which mark the beginning and end
of an issue are set to equal. I've checked the DB and the fields are *not*
equal!

Then I've noticed, that our User Tool has no time zone set. The field is
empty.

Now, whatever time zone the User Tools is assuming, when the User does not
explicitly set it, the Date/Time fields shouln't be displaying equal date
and time, since they're not equal in the DB, right?

Anyway, I've set the time zone to GMT +1 Europe/Berlin and now my date and
fields show the correct date and time.

   * Do I now have to ask all my users to do the same?

   * Why has it been working so far, without messing with the time zone?

   * What about mid-tier? Mid-tier still shows both fields set to the same
date and time.

Thanks,
Mark
