Hi All,

Here's the scenario I have at work and would like to solicit your
feedback/inputs...

OOB: Only 'Asset Admin' users have the create & modify permissions on the CI
Client Scenario: Made customizations so that 'Asset User' can also create &
modify a particular CI that they currently have a People relationship
(Support Group)
Current Issue: When the 'Modify All' functionality is used, no security is
in place. Even 'Asset User' with read-only permissions on a CI can modify
record.
OOB: When I logged in as An Asset Viewer (as well as Asset User), and used
'Modify All' functionality, I was able to update the record that is
read-only (Save button is disabled, fields are locked out)

My questions:

1. Has anyone in the group implemented something similar to this?
2. Is this an issue I need to bring to BMC or do I just create worklows to
implement the security on Modify All?

Thanks in advance.

Tina
