Trying to get ARS 7.5 patch 3 to use OS Authentication with RedHat. All the typical settings are set RPC-0, Chaining Mode (ARS-OS-AREA), Cross Ref Blank Password, Authenticate Unregistered users. There is a user setup in /etc/passwd. However, it never seems to get to /etc/password. Ran etrace and api logging and nothing seems to be giving any clues. Has anyone else got this to work with RedHat? We are not using LDAP either, so we wouldn't configure LDAP just OS.
