Be careful of the payscale data. It appears to be limited to one person in Chicago and the rest in DC. It doesn't really list the numbers that are used to generate the charts. Must be at least 6 to be able to generate the min and max numbers for the 3 ranges of years of experience. If you look at the Median Salary by State, the upper number for DC is at or near $140,000
