Doug/all,
(Here is my 5 minutes of actual usage)
Thanks for the info.
I got a 7.5 MT Patch 3 setup - tried it this morning.
Yes the form opens (with Safari) -- here are some "little issues"
- Have to click on a word in a table -- not anywhere on the row in a
table (no big deal)
- dialogs open "huge" taking up most of the screen
- buttons sometimes respond to a click -- sometimes not
- all the sudden a button is clicked (as if the click event was
"queued" and finally released when my mouse was over something else)
(possible trouble)
- click on a line in a table -- nothing happens -- do it again - then
it works (as if losing events) -- not sure
First show-stopper
- I can't actually get to the tab I want -- unless I press tab -- then
space -- when the tab is highlighted.
At which point -- I quit.
(I tried Mac Safari and Mac Firefox)
Maybe I can "change the application" in the admin tool -- but -- that
is not really an option.
I also tried IE (Windows) -- IE did not have the show-stopper as above.
Research ended.
(I would love to get rid of my Windows XP VM - which is only used for
ARS)

*Heavy* use of Mac and Mid-Tier - no, so far I'm the only one at my
site.
That said, the 7.5 (p3) mid-tier does officially support Safari on the
Mac, and I can vouch for the fact that a 7.5 (p3) mid-tier on a
Windows box does allow Safari/Mac users to use ITSM 7.01.x on a
7.01.p3 server. That means you can set up a 7.5 mid-tier and talk to
your older ITSM as well as your new 7.6 ITSM. The pre-cache and
persistent cache thngs seem to work too.

Just wondering -- is anybody heavily using MidTier 7.5 and the Mac?
If so -- happy?
If not happy -- why?
Followup -- will MidTier 7.5 work against 7.01 ARS?
And - is anybody doing it?
Side question - any idea why these files exist in the MidTier.war?
