One workflow area that .. might not work anymore ... in one of the older versions you could execute Macros via workflow - that was removed ... in one version or another (maybe this is REALLY old like v3)

In the old versions you could have core fields on display only forms. In later versions you can not. There are probably a few other things that could cause you problems too, but I don't remember anything else.
