Actually if you're sure that 6 characters will be the max length of the word(s) you are looking for just substring for all 6 characters and due an rpad to trim the space if the word returned is 5 characters. Rpad(SUBSTRC($Description$, 12, 16))
Of course the command may not be rpad but there should an equivalent that I am too lazy to look up at the moment.
