I have a client that would like to add some email addresses to the outgoing email messages in certain situations. I looked at the Email Messages form and noticed that there is a CC field. I then thought I would set up a form with two fields that has the filtering information plus an entry for the CC field (might be one address, might be many). When the email message gets created from Incident or Change, I can do a set fields on the CC field from my form based on whatever criteria matches.
Is this viable? Does the CC field get used when Remedy ships the email message to the email server? I assume it does since it is there.
