Didn't the Admin Tool only need Java if you were using Developer Plus? Maybe
it is needed for working with web services? I don't remember the Admin Tool
having a large dependency on Java.

I have had both Admin Tool and Dev Studio working on the same machine but I
don't remember the Java specifics. Most likely I upgrade to the version
that Dev Studio needed.
